– It’s wonderful that Harvia is in the finals. Once again, being recognized in the awards highlights the  evidence of the successful work of our team and our long-standing partners. We look forward to hearing the results of the competition, says Tapio Pajuharju, CEO of Harvia.

The Awards has four different categories, in which three of the best companies are chosen for the finals. In addition to Harvia, this year Finland is also represented by Admicom, a finalist in the category of ”Star of 2019”. The winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony on 12 November 2019 at the Theatre de Vaudeville in Brussels.

The European Small and Mid-Cap Awards recognize Europe’s smaller listed companies

European Small and Mid-Cap Awards, launched in 2013, was created by the European Commission to recognise some of Europe’s smaller stock listed companies identified through four varying categories and showcased at the night of the Awards. Co-organising the event are EuropeanIssuers and the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), both representing the European stock exchanges and the companies listed on them.
The winner is decided by an independent, high-level jury, moderated by the European Commission, consisting of representatives from academia, asset management, brokerage and the media.

– Harvia is a good candidate for the category International Star due to it exporting to more than 80 countries. The company’s international share shows an increase in Middle East and Asia, says Florence Bindelle, the Secretary General of EuropeanIssuers.

– Supporting SMEs in accessing finance through public markets is essential, it is rewarding to see companies like Harvia excel and grow after listing on NASDAQ Helsinki. The Awards are a great platform to showcase these companies and commend their work. Congratulations to them for this nomination, adds Rainer Riess, the Director General of FESE.
